Hi Sun Young! I just happened to stumble across your video. I’m also a Korean adoptee who has a couple daughters of mixed heritage (Korean/Caucasian). I really enjoyed your video, so thank you for sharing your story! I’m one of the few Korean adoptees who has been reunited with my birth family. If you and your father are still interested in trying to find some information or just doing a birth family search in general, I have some resources for you guys. Oh btw I’m also in the central plains, South Dakota to be exact...small world right lol

i can relate to a lot of these points. I am also half Korean (and look more asian) and I know how it feels to not belong. For me I have found that a lot of my problems have stemmed from being insecure in my race and the way I look.

Weird that your grandparents don't have a copy of the adoption papers. My parents have a copy of mine. Also, mine went the reverse way ie my Korean relatives wanted to find me. Maybe you can get the adoption agency to pass along your info to his birth family. (I think my relatives went to Korean social services who contacted the adoption agency who contacted my parents).

I've seen your vlogs today. I like them. I'm from S Korea, living in the Netherlands. Do you live in S Korea permanently now or how long did you planned to stay. And is it hard to get a job to support yourself?

The French and Germans have an almost similar DNA that predominates in several European countries, which is why this group is called "french and german" and brings together several countries (France, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Swiss, Luxembourg). So for the Vaud is your part of French dna but not German that must be kept ...

You have more British isles DNA than I do. Speaks to the strength of some Asian genes.
